Kinder, LA - On December 8, fight fans are in for a night of excitement in The Pavilion at Coushatta. Two dynamic main event matches - a professional championship boxing match and a mixed martial arts match - plus a great undercard - round out an evening of flying fists and feet. All fighters will weigh in at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, in The Pavilion at Coushatta. Members of the media and the general public are invited to attend. On December 8, "Fight Night at Coushatta" matches begin at 7:00 p.m.; doors open at 6:00 p.m.
The professional boxing main event is a face-off between "Lethal" Johnnie White and Ray Lunsford for the Louisiana State Professional Heavyweight title. This title bout is presented by Winston John Promotions, and Daley's Warriors, Inc. White is the former Louisiana Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion and the former United States Amateur Boxing Regional Heavyweight Champion. Before turning pro, he was ranked #3 in the United States. White is currently at 17-0 with an impressive 15 KO's. Lunsford's stellar career is highlighted with championships: five-time Arkansas Golden Gloves Champion, two-time Mid-South Regional Golden Glove Champion and former National Silver Gloves Champion. Lunsford is currently the top-ranked professional heavyweight in Mississippi with 19 wins, 7 losses, 2 draws and 7 KO's.
