Cake-Cutting Ceremony with Native Tribal Dance Performances

Kinder, LA—Coushatta Casino Resort, owned and operated by the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana, will celebrate its 21st anniversary at 10am Friday, January 15, 2016. Tribal Chairman Lovelin Poncho, members of the Tribal Council, casino management, and local dignitaries will mark the occasion with a cake-cutting ceremony and special performances by tribal dancers in Mikko Live, located inside the casino near The Grand Hotel.

Anniversary celebrations continue Saturday, January 16, with acclaimed TV late night show host JAY LENO performing in The Pavilion at 8pm, and on Sunday, January 17, with a Car & Cash Giveaway totaling over $85,000 in cash and prizes. Tickets for Leno’s Saturday night performance are available on Ticketmaster.com and at Coushatta Box Office. During the giveaway on Sunday, hourly cash drawings will be held from 6pm until 9pm and the new car grand prizes will be awarded at 10pm and 11pm.

The casino also offers anniversary promotions during the month of January, including double slot club points every Monday from 8am until 12midnight, discounted room rates, and discounted green fees at Koasati Pines Golf Course, plus extra entertainment with bands playing in Mikko Live Thursday through Sunday with no cover charge.
