KINDER, LA––Coushatta Casino Resort is proud to present ROCK MAYnia every Saturday night this May, in The Pavilion at Coushatta. Doors open at 6:30pm. Each concert starts at 8pm. Tickets for each show are available through Ticketmaster.com and at Coushatta Box Office, where Advantage Club members receive a $10 discount.

ROCK MAYnia brings together eight of the 80’s & early 90’s most memorable heavy metal artists and popular acts to perform their biggest hits. Combined, these entertainers boast record sales of over 150 million, including gold, platinum and silver releases.

During the 1980’s and ‘90’s, these hits blasted from speakers in boom boxes, radios, and nightclubs: Queensrÿche’s “I Don’t Believe in Love,” “Don’t Look Back,” and “Silent Lucidity;” Slaughter’s “Stick It To Ya” and “Up All Night;” Cinderella’s Tom Keifer “Don’t Know What You Got ‘Til It’s Gone,” and “The Way Life Goes.” New Orleans’ own Lillian Axe, the first hard rock band to be inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, had hits with “True Believer” and “Show A Little Love.”

Skid Row’s hits include “I Remember You,” “Monkey Business,” and “18 and Life;” Stryper’s most popular hits were “Calling On You” and “Honestly.” Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe unleashed his unmistakable vocal talent on “Home Sweet Home,” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” and “Kickstart My Heart.” Sledgehammer, formed in 2014 by two former members of Lillian Axe and one of only two rock bands to be inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, plays hard-hitting popular classic rock.
