Coushatta Casino Resort Associates Raise $11,508 with Childhood Cancer Awareness Fundraiser for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital

Associates of Coushatta Casino Resort participated in a fundraiser to promote childhood cancer awareness during the month of September, raising $11,508 to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Associates who wished to donate were allowed to purchase and wear specially designed t-shirts on designated weekdays during the month. Additionally, associates were allowed to purchase coupons to wear blue jeans on t-shirt days.

Coushatta Tribal Councilmembers Loretta Williams and Jonathan Cernek, Coushatta Casino Resort’s Interim General Manager Greg Raynor presented the check to Emma Sweat, Regional Development Representative for St. Jude’s Hospital. They were joined by casino associates who received services from St. Jude’s Hospital: Haydn McCoy, Nakia Hutchins, and Sonya Guidry. Ms. Sweat gratefully accepted the donation, stating, “Thank you all for what you have done to help support our mission of finding cures and saving children.”
