Tickets are $20 at Ticketmaster.com and at Coushatta Box Office where Advantage Club members receive a $10 discount. Admission is $20 on day of show at The Pavilion.

“Joie de vivre” is at the heart of South Louisiana music and permeates its unique musical genres, especially Cajun and Zydeco. Coushatta Crossroads X showcases a stellar lineup of national and regional Cajun and Zydeco artists. The musical styles of Cajun and Zydeco have subtle differences that make each a delight for listeners and dancers. Though most songs are sung in French, there are exceptions sung in English––and almost all speak of the many stages of love and heartbreak. The Cajun songs have a lighter, more uplifted tempo, with reedy diatonic accordion and sweet violin notes carrying the melody, while the Zydeco songs feature a more earthy sound with the distinctive keyboard accordion carrying the melody and a much heavier percussive beat dominated by the unmistakable clattering sound of a “frottoir,” a metal rub-board. Attendees will enjoy non-stop music on two stages and a huge 3600 sq. ft. dance floor––an entire afternoon and evening of great music, great dancing, and great fun!
