1980’s Supergroup REO Speedwagon Performs September 20
August 15, 2008
Kinder, LA—The quintessential supergroup of the 1980’s, REO Speedwagon, will perform one show only in The Pavilion at Coushatta on Saturday, September 20. Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, and Coushatta Box Office.
REO Speedwagon is best remembered for their megahits “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” “Keep On Loving You,” “Roll With The Changes,” and “Take It On The Run.” Kevin Cronin (lead vocals, guitar), Bruce Hall (bass), Neal Doughty (keyboards), Dave Amato (lead guitar) and Bryan Hitt (drums) roll full throttle in promotion of their album FIND YOUR OWN WAY HOME, their first studio collection of new material in more than a decade.
The roots of the new album go back to the spring of 2000, when the band joined forces with fellow Midwest rockers Styx for a national, sold-out, co-headlining tour. The tour proved to be such a commercial success that it was recorded live and released on both CD and DVD, jokingly entitled "Arch Allies". The bands appeared together on the Today show, VH1, and on numerous syndicated radio shows, including The Howard Stern Show.
Coushatta Casino Resort is located in Kinder, Louisiana on Highway 165 (I-10, exit 44), featuring three hotels and thousands of slots and table games including live poker, live bingo, off-track betting and a sportsbook. Call (800) 584-7263 or visit www.ccrla.com for more information.
