January 4, 2010

Kinder, LA—Coushatta Casino Resort, owned and operated by the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana, celebrates its 15th anniversary January 15-23, 2010. The public is invited to join Tribal Chairman Kevin Sickey, members of the Tribal Council, and casino management for a cake-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 15, in Mikko Center. There will be a special performance by world-renowned Indian Hoop Dancer Lyndon Alec, from Livingston, Texas. Complimentary cake will be served after the ceremony.

On Friday, January 22, anniversary celebrations continue with a free slot tournament with a total of $20,000 cash to be awarded to top scorers, including the $10,000 grand prize. The celebrations conclude on Saturday, January 23, with the $75,000 Cash & Car Giveaway from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Random drawings every hour will determine cash winners, and the final drawing will award cash plus a new car valued over $40,000 to the lucky grand prize winner. Guests earn entries into these drawings by playing any slot machine or table game using their Advantage Club card. Club membership is free.
